Simple Realisation

I have been doing a bit of a blog surf and have come up with the realisation that my cards are rather simple. I am doing it safe rather that going out of my comfort zone, so I am going to challenge myself to do so. Below are a few examples of my simple cards.

This card was a large one made for someone who was leaving work to go on a European Adventure. I am so jealous. The stamp I used here is Garden Whimsy.
This stamp set, Organic Outlines, opens itself to simple. I think it would be too busy to add any more to it. I am really happy with how this card turned out. The paper and ink used is Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla.
This little one needed to be relatively simple because I had to make 16 of them. Each month Ngaire gives a challenge to her down line for a swap (she is the one who inspired me to become a rep). The last challenge was punch art. I used the round and oval scallop punches for the wool and ears, the face is half a large oval punch and the legs are the double rectangle. It was fun coming up with the design and though it looks simple there is in fact quite a lot of work in this one.

In hind site I suppose there has always been a reason for my cards being simple, so I am not going to stop doing these but I am going to try and go out of my square a bit more. In fact I do believe I can hear my craft area calling now.

They are all lovely. But I love the middle one the most. Simple is often the best.
