Tree Pendant

For those of you who know me well know that I like to dabble in many different things. Lately I have been created small pieces of art and making pendants out of them. For the first time last weekend I tried wood burning.

Using the Stazon Black Ink I stamped one of the trees from the Trendy Trees stamp set onto a 1 1/2 inch wooden pendant. I then went over it with the wood burning tool. The final touch of colour was created using the Luminart Micr Powders with the wood medium.

It was so easy to do. I am waiting for the gold bail to arrive so that I can attach that to the pendant. I am also thinking of attaching a small charm at the bottom on one side of the tree. I have some tiny gold dragon flies but if anyone knows of an online store where I can get hold of some others that would be great.
Last night my friend came over and helped me christen some of the new stamp sets and inks that I have recently acquired. She made a gorgeous owl card for her sister. I am going to try and replicate it today and hopefully blog it later.

Well this is Sunday which means house cleaning so I had better go do it so I can sit down and have more fun.
